George Wardle the founder of the nursery, studied Agriculture and Horticulture in the mid 1960’s, at Park Hill College in Derbyshire, and has been growing plants at High Farm since 1974.
Our aim is to sell the very best plants at the lowest possible price. We do this by growing almost all our plants from seed or cuttings ourselves. This way , we keep the price down and monitor quality at every stage of the plants growth.
Due to planning regulations we are not able to sell from High Farm. So we do the next best thing.
We take our plants to You. By working on the best of the local markets we cover a wide area, and can reach more of our customers.
